From Motor City located around a Formula 1 racetrack, the development consists of two residential neighborhoods and a commercial park. An amusement park that was included in the initial master plan has been abandoned.

Driving times from Motor City to Dubai Mall (18 minutes), Palm Jumeirah (18 minutes), Burj Al Arab (20 minutes), and The Walk JBR (22 minutes) are almost the same.

The new Al Maktoum International Airport is approximately 31 minutes' drive from Dubai International Airport (DXB), and both take about 39 minutes by car.

Sheikh Zayed Road is ten minutes away by car, while Emirates Road and Al Khail Road are also conveniently located. The airport is forty minutes away by car, while Dubai Marina and Mall of the Emirates are twenty.
